In this nature photography workshop we focus on capturing the close up images within the wider landscapes found in nature. Detail and macro photos are a great way to add a visual variety to your photography and are a great tool to compliment a series of photographs or stand on their own.

Whether you are creating a Facebook post or photographing an entire book, a detail image will enhance your visual storytelling. A variety of images is an important aspect of any collection of photographs. Detail images are some of my ways of capturing the world around us.

Who is this workshop for?

My workshops are about seeing and capturing the world around us and not overly focused on the camera equipment. Therefore they are suited for anyone from the beginner to a serious amateur. Good photography is about vision, not about cameras.

What Equipment is required?

Good nature photography does not require a bag full of expensive camera gear. Whatever gear you already have is probably enough. A medium telephoto is all it takes to create a detail photo and a macro may be helpful, but not necessary. Any DSLR or mirrorless camera will do.
